DeVito South Beach
DeVito South Beach brought an Italian chophouse to the corner of First Street and Ocean Drive when it opened in 2007, with actor Danny DeVito as co-owner and namesake. The design leaned into drama: a palm-shrouded entrance, a red, black and white palette, white tufted-leather seating, marble-topped tables and glowing red chandeliers, with curtained cabanas on the terrace for private dining. For years it was one of South Beach's most talked-about dining rooms.
